Mindfulness Meditation is an ancient practice that allows us to gain perspective of our thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations. Mindfulness can be defined as paying attention to the present moment, in all its fullness, without judgment. Its about building the ability to tolerate the whole human experience and cultivate a connection with the heart. Thus permitting us to choose how we respond to internal and external experiences, rather than living on automatic pilot, and promotes the space and energy to move towards our values. Yoga is an ancient practice (200 BC!) that offers a guide to deepen mindfulness practice, connect with the breath, and move the body. Finding alignment through mind, body, spirit and community. I teach “mindfulness in everyday life” to assist with connecting to present moment and living a vital life. This skill helps us respond rather than react to all that life throws our way. I also offer yoga practices tailored to your life’s needs, whether that be to energize and motivate you, assist in finding balance, or strategies to slow down in our anxious, fast paced world. At the end of our work you will have a home practice made just for you.
