Evidence Based Coaching
So often we are advised to “be grateful for what we have” or “enjoy the moment”. Yet in our fast paced world this is much easier said than done. On paper everything may look wonderful, yet inside there may be an ache for more or a longing to live more fully. There are so many demands on our time and energy, we can feel empty, lonely, or lose track of meaning. Coaching is an opportunity to re-connect to what truly matters to us, and then build the tools and confidence to live a life guided by this.
If you choose to work with me we will engage in a process of deliberate and intentional awareness building with the goal of living your most vital life. It is a process of personal evolution, motivated by the desire to engage fully in this one precious life. Through evidence based practices and awareness building, we will increase confidence and trust in yourself so that you may choose your path wisely. There will be homework, lively discussions, and lots of honesty. My hope is that you leave with clarity and confidence.
Note: What’s the difference between therapy and coaching? Therapy addresses diagnosable psychiatric problems whereas coaching is about behavior change more broadly. Both engage psychology and behavior in potentially deep ways. If you’re not sure which is right for you, drop me a line and we can discuss.
